Audrey's Second Birthday

Whoop-de-doo Audrey turned TWO!

When Audrey was a baby she never let us put her down - ever. She would wake up the instant I would put her in her crib, on the couch next to me, in the playpen, on my bed - it didn't matter, if she wasn't in mine or Josh's arms she was devistated! When she got a little older and knew who mommy and daddy were she wouldn't go to anybody else. If someone made eye contact with her she would do one of three things: cry, hide her face until they left, or pretend she was sleeping. Around the people she is comfortable with she is the happiest little darling you ever did see. She is funny and tries to make you laugh, she is super playful, and very easy going.

For her first birthday we threw her a big party with all our friends and family. Audrey had a great time but didn't play with anyone else or visit with other people. She mostly stayed in my arms and enjoyed her party for the safety of my lap :) So for her second birthday we decided to do something a little more intimate. We invited over just Great Grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt and Uncles. It turned out perfect! Audrey was comfortable and happy the whole time!

Since it was a small party we did a simple yet adorable Birthday Balloon theme party. Everything was confetti, streamers, and balloons.

Uh-oh someone tried to talk to Audrey!

And you can't have a birthday without gifts!

And last but not least - Cake! The world's most delicious bunt cake that is...

It was the perfect birthday party for our little Audrey!

On her actual birthday later that week we took her to Farrel's  for dinner and ice cream.

Audrey - you are such a ray of sunshine that grows brighter each and every day. I know you can be shy at times but around us you are always so sweet, loving, jovial and ready to make others and yourself laugh. You are curious, adventurous, and daring. We love you always and forever!
Happy Second Birthday Audrey Goochy!
